REACH became Law in December 2006 and was implemented on 1 June 2007. REACH will force industry to show that the chemicals it uses are safe, thus encourage the replacement of hazardous chemicals with safer ones by spurring R&D of new chemicals. It focuses on health and the environmental impact of components used to make the myriad of products we use and are exposed to on a daily basis.

Our cutting fluid products contain many natural substances of which many are actually on the exempt list. Of those chemicals that are chemically modified by our blenders, all are on existing inventories and have long and well defined history of safe usage on considerable pre-existing data.

Our cutting fluids contain no materials that meet the definition of ‘chemicals of concern’ where there is data to support risk of health or environmental risks.
